Angus
The Mystic Knight of Earth
Angus begins as a small-time pickpocket in his village, with a habit of burglary and a self-professed specialty in picking locks. After sneaking into Cathbad's room to visit Rohan, then running out from the "magical mishap" he causes, Angus is caught by a guard for a different theft and hauled to the King's dungeon. He's quickly freed by Rohan in trade for coming to find Draganta, but not without annoyance at having to walk so far for a dubious quest.
While it's common for Rohan to joke that Angus never thinks, he's adept at bluffs and misdirection to trick his targets, and is typically the one to have a plan when the team's cornered in battle. However, Angus is often tempted by shortcuts, and is easily distracted by food, jewels, magic, and above all, gold. He's also reluctant to do any tedious or boring work. If he can't pass it off to someone else, he'll take every break he can get along the way.
As the only member of the Mystic Knights to not have grown up inside a castle, Angus fails to share the manners, tact, and formality of the other four. He'll frequently interrupt to joke, taunt, lie, snap, or flirt without thinking of the consequence, meaning that even when the others agree, his behaviour still forces their reproach. Despite this, his impulsivity makes him quick to defend his friends, and he'll lead the team if Rohan is away or incapacitated.
The history between Angus and Rohan is a reoccurring topic of the show. Although it's never said when or how they meet, they've been "friends for life" since they were boys, and were already friends by the time Rohan met Cathbad, Deirdre, and Conchobar. At some point, Rohan moved from the castle to a hut in their village, and Angus has stayed with him presumably since then. Notably, and in contrast to his usual approach of 'flight', Angus has put himself in repeated danger to save Rohan, and has made multiple points of dropping everything else to fix a problem Rohan was having.
Angus is the Mystic Knight of Earth. After demonstrating an act of honesty, he earned his Terra Sling Mace from King Fin Varra, which he can swing to launch boulders and trigger earthquakes. He can summon his Mystic Armour by shouting, "Earth beneath me," which he earned at the caves to the west by defeating Bane Morfan, the Rock Wolf of Temra.
